Event Date & Time Location Description POC March Chili Cookoff 3/6/2010 , 6:00 p.m. Hope Lutheran Church Bring a crock-pot full of your favorite chili or soup recipe to enter in the competition or bring a salad or dessert to share. All dinnerware will be provided. Bring small bills to vote for your favorite entry! Proceeds benefit HSPI and Hope Lutheran Church.   HSPI Meeting 3/23/2010 , 7:00 p.m. Hope Lutheran Church Keep up on neighborhood events! Help us make your neighborhood the best it can be! Join your neighbors for the monthly membership meeting of Historic South Park Inc. Meeting usually lasts no more than one hour. This is also a great time to renew your HSPI membership!   PlayFest Mar 26-27, 7:30 p.m. Hope Arts Center The Hope Arts Center presents the Short and Sweet Playfest! Six ten-minute plays written by local artists will be performed on two nights, with awards presented after Saturday's performances. $3.00 donation suggested, but seating is limited, so arrive early! The Hope Arts Center is located in Hope Lutheran Church, 500 Hickory street.   April Easter Egg Hunt 4/3/2010 , 12:00 p.m. Gazebo on Park Drive It's spring time! The annual Easter Egg hunt will be on Saturday, April 3. The hunt will begin at 12 pm at the South Park Gazebo.
