Per the November 15, 2024 issue of Dayton Daily News: “Next phase of Flats at South Park construction to begin…in a matter of weeks, and the first batch of new housing units could come open by late summer of 2025.”
Developer Oberer Thompson Company plans to build about 88 new housing units on vacant land located just east of its two existing apartment buildings along Warren Street, near Cline Street, at the western edge of the South Park neighborhood.

As of February 2025: Dayton will pay $400K to help start Phase 3 of $27M Flats at South Park project, to fix “site deficiencies.” Neighbors on Hickory Street one block east and one block west of Alberta may be affected by road and water main work early this year.
