Annual Perennial Exchange: Cleaning out your flower garden? On Saturday, April 17th at 10am, neighbors bring their unwanted perennials to the South Park Green at Hickory & James for giving or trading.
Just starting a garden? Even if you don’t have any perennials to bring, you are welcome to come get some plants and give them a new home.
South Park Urban Garden (SPUG) is the community garden at Burns & Nathan. Sign up for a garden bed and try your hand at growing some vegetables. Visit SPUG on Sunday, April 18 from 10am-12N, 2-4pm. Get a tour and select a bed.
South Park’s 5th Annual Earth Day Neighborhood Cleanup takes place Fri-Sun, April 23-25. Bring your pup and poo pickup tools to the Dog Walk + Clean up at 5pm Friday, starting at Blommel Park. Join our 5th Annual Trashenger Hunt on Saturday at 2pm at Blommel Park and join with other families in picking up litter. Get your free t-shirt, free pizza and a raffle ticket for participating! On Sunday at 2pm starting at the Gazebo, kids and parents are invited to a Bicycle Parade! Roll down the Boulevard. Afterwards, the more experienced riders are invited to peddle to Island Park and back!
