he 2009 South Park Holiday Home Tour was a great success! Hundreds of visitors joined South Park neighbors and friends for a festive tour of historic South Park on December 5. Eleven homes, including grand Queen Annes, quaint cottages, and majestic Victorians decked out in their holiday finest were open to the public. Carolers in Victorian garb serenaded tourgoers, and guests were treated to a dessert buffet and a hot beverage.
Thanks to all who made the 2009 tour possible, including the homeowners, the dozens of neighborhood volunteers, and especially the hundreds of guests who visited South Park. We received this email from one attendee:
“Thank you for the fantastic tour! It was my first time attending and it was amazing. I really appreciate the home owners opening their homes and sharing their stories and their vision. The variety of the homes was wonderful and I got a lot of great ideas for my own home.”
The pleasure was all ours!
