It may be winter, but Dayton offers many cures for cabin fever. Take a moment to look over this “starter” list assembled by twenty-year South Park resident, David Esrati. David is a highly informed “idea guy,” a widely-read blogger with a passion for good government, and owner of The Next Wave creative agency. And luckily for us, he is also an avid supporter of our neighborhood and a guy who gets out and enjoys himself, so he has plenty to share.
Most of us have lived in the city for a good while, but have yet to try all the things David suggests. Such as, taking in a performance by the renowned Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, a film at The Neon. Or trying the Vietnamese menu at Linhs or a sandwich at Chicago Gyros. Have you treated yourself to dinner at The Pine Club? And if you still haven’t been to the Airforce Museum or the Art Institute, make a new year’s resolution to do so! The list is impressive and the post is open for comments from readers–so you’ll get even more ideas to keep you out-and-about all year long.
