A Smashing Success: 2023 Shakespeare, Murder Mystery, and on we go!
We’re so grateful for the many hard-working volunteers who bring us these amazing annual events! Shakespeare in South Park was a rousing success with A Midsummer Night’s Dream; The Murder Mystery Home Tour hit it out of the park with Trigger Mortis: A Gangster’s Revenge. And into fall/winter we go, with more events for South Park neighbors.

The South Park Murder Mystery is back! On October 7th, take a guided tour through beautiful historic homes and solve a chilling 1930s murder case.
Excellence in Preservation Award 2023 goes to Burgess and Jeanine Gow
Preservation Dayton, Inc. chose Burgess and Jeanine Gow as the recipients of their Excellence in Preservation Award 2023 to recognize and celebrate their historic preservation work in the landmark neighborhood of Historic South Park, Dayton, Ohio.
Emerson Academy submits plan to solve years of traffic headaches on Hickory Street
Update: Members who attended our June 27 meeting asked Emerson Academy to submit a different idea, one they previously considered, using Buckeye Street and the current bus turnaround for private vehicle access.
