We’re getting gazebo concerts this year! HSPI is helping move the community garden from Burns and Nathan to Burns-Jackson Park, the reunion event planning is going well, and membership is increasing!

Volunteers presented a plan to host a South Park Murder Mystery and progress on this summer’s South Park Reunion. Preservation Dayton awarded two neighbors for outstanding home restorations. No South Park streets to be repaved in 2022.

Shakespeare in South Park will be  August 26-28, so our August PPD is moving to September 10. Looking forward to the Easter Egg Hunt, Earth Day Cleanup, and New Neighbor Party on Thursday May 12.

We discussed coming plans for a full calendar of activities, including a special reunion-themed neighborhood party, and added a Historian to the volunteer ranks!
